What is the TN Pirate Fest?

(Click on underlined words (links) for videos and more information.)

Enter the towering gates and feel transported to the fictional Caribbean town of Port Royale in the Tortugas in the late 1600's.

The Governor is celebrating his birthday and all are invited--including pirates!  Enjoy numerous stages with professional live entertainment, including pirate music, comedy improv, and combat croquet!

Interact with costumed street characters who are living at or visiting Port Royale--British red coats, townspeople, and pirates!  This year, we have characters based on the classic Errol Flynn movie, "Captain Blood!"  Question is who are the good guys and who are the bad guys?

Come in costume if you wish and enter the Costume Contest.  Got talent?  Enter the Gong Show to join a pirate crew.  Want to talk like a pirate?  Come to Pirate School and learn your I's (Aye), C's (Sea), and R's (ARRR)!

Shop the merchant village for unique treasures.  Come hungry and thirsty for a variety of delicious food and drinks--including beer.

Like a scavenger hunt?  Walk the Trail of Doom with slightly spooky characters and displays.  Want to compete?  Try the Pirate Olympics.  Just want to have a vacation at the Caribbean?  Play beach games with the whole family.   All day fun for everyone!
